Playing Bass

The bass guitar has a similar appearance as the normal acoustic and electric guitars, but it has a longer neck and scale length. The instrument usually has four heavy tuned strings and is the lowest pitched of the guitar family.


The first Electric Bass Guitar was invented in the 1930s by American musician Paul Tutmarc. Leo Fender and George Fullerton later developed the first mass-produced Electric Bass Guitar in the 1950s.
